24-Hour Secretary™ Celebrates 'Coming of Age' and 18
Years of Supporting Local and Virtual Clients!
Homebased Virtual Assistant business kicks-off 18 year anniversary
celebration of providing administrative and internet-based support
services to globally-based clients.
Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) November 1,
2007 -- Launched from a concept to provide administrative, secretarial,
transcription and marketing services for small businesses 24 hours a
day, November marks The 24 Hour Secretary's 18th year of supporting
clients located around the globe, virtually. Most businesses are lucky
to reach the five year mark, let alone 18 years, a milestone
traditionally synonymous with coming of age.
"It hasn't been easy and each year has brought challenges, but by
implementing sound business practices, providing exceptional customer
service, and utilizing the newest Internet-based technologies, we stay
ahead of our competitors," states Sharon Williams, chief visionary
officer of The 24 Hour Secretary.
The growth of the homebased business phenomena has greatly
contributed to The 24 Hour Secretary's success. Entrepreneurs and small
business owners benefit from working with offsite virtual professionals
or Virtual Assistants (VAs) as members of Sharon's industry are called.
Reduced overhead, no personnel-related expenses, partnering with
experienced, internet and technology-savvy team members and only paying
for time on task are just a few of the advantages over competitors
clients achieve when working with this company.
The 24 Hour Secretary™ maintains their edge by anticipating,
preparing for and embracing change. Sharon Williams is the chief
visionary officer of The 24 Hour Secretary™. She is a Master Virtual
Assistant (MVA), Professional Real Estate Virtual Assistant (PREVA),
author and coach. She is the recipient of the inaugural, prestigious VA
industry, Thomas Leonard International Virtual Assistant of Distinction
Award. "I'm thrilled that The 24 Hour Secretary™ has finally 'come of
age'; however, I must confess I've been able to smoke and vote for some
time," jokes Williams. "In all seriousness, I'm honored to be a part of
such a wonderful industry and appreciate the opportunity to work with
other globally-based VAs and clients. I look forward to our 21st
anniversary celebration."
Prior to starting her businesses, Sharon's administrative positions
ranged from clerk typist to executive secretary. She also served as a
union shop steward and labor relations specialist, as well as
vice-president of her union. Ms. Williams has the distinction of being
the first female, first black president in the union's then 56-year
history. Her last full-time employment was as a Program Compliance
Officer, a hearing officer of claims against a local municipality.
Clients of The 24 Hour Secretary™ have included internationally-renowned
hospitals, medical clinics and private medical practices as well as
solo-practitioners and mid-size law firms, school principals,
accountants, entrepreneurs, architects, nonprofit and charitable
organizations, colleges, associations, and small business owners such as
