Low-Cost Marketing Ideas Tip #1 – Develop a Plan

Before implementing a marketing campaign, the entrepreneur should develop a plan — a strategy to discover who your potential customers are and how to effectively reach them. You should be clear about your short and long term goals and objectives and how you plan to achieve them.

One of the first steps in this process is to set clear, realistic and measurable objectives, including deadlines, a budget and a breakdown of responsibilities.

This process may include the following elements:

  • analysis of your current market
  • your objectives
  • key strategies
  • steps to achieve your objectives
  • proposed budget
  • timing
  • However, even with all the elements identified, and those not listed, a strategy that ignores the customer is like stepping off a step blindfolded, hoping your foot will land solidly on the step below.

How do we acknowledge our customer’s existence, wants and needs, and the basic element of a good marketing plan?

    Through market research.

Market research is actually a study of the past. It reveals what people have done, and extrapolates what people might do. It is not based solely on the entrepreneur’s oft times inaccurate perceptions, but instead on accurate, documented facts obtained by either simple or sophisticated methods. Its results can help you focus your energy and resources.

So, once you have identified your target market, conduct your research and obtain and analyze as much information as possible about them. Make sure they are truly the audience that need and want your product or service. ????? ???? ????? nylon
